Savvy Student Shopper’s Trips to Safeway and CVS

Can you tell I’m on Spring Break?! I love, love, love deal shopping 🙂

I went back to Safeway to grab more DiGiorno and to CVS to grab some cereal, and of course picked up a few deals along the way.

Safeway:

Bought:

  • (4) DiGiorno Pizza Strips – $0.74 each (see deal here)
  • (2) Bob Evans Ground Pork (75% clearance!) = $1.12/lb!
  • (1) Laura’s Ground Beef (75% clearance!) = $1.62/lb!

Used $2.50 Catalina from Clorox,  $5 Frozen Food Catalina and $2.50/2 DiGiorno Strips (from the previous trips).

Paid $6.82 and got back catalinas for $5 off my next new frozen food purchase! Can’t beat $7 for 3lbs of ground meat and 4 pizzas! That’s 6-7 meals!

CVS:

Bought:

  • (10) Kellogg’s Cereal (See deal here) $1.77 each
  • (3) Lumene Eye Makeup Removed $6.79 each
  • (1) Biore Cleanser $8.39
  • (1) Biore Strips $7.99

Used:

  • (2) $5/5 Kellogg’s (NLA)
  • (2) $3/1 Lumene CVS coupons (tearpad by product)
  • (1) $5/1 Lumene CVS coupon (from Magic Coupon Machine)
  • (1) $1/1 Biore Product (peelie)
  • (1) Free Cleanser wyb Strips
  • $10 Cash Card & ECBs

Paid about $2. Got back $10 ECB from Lumene and $5 ECB from Biore.  I am also submitting the $10 Rebate here for the cereal. And for the breakdown after coupons/rebates/ECBs. Biore came to $1 each, Lumene were a $0.20 Money Maker each, and cereal will be a $o.23 Money Maker each.
